About Us

Juan and Maria Luzuriaga are siblings that were born and raised in Ecuador until 2000 when they immigrated to the U.S 

They rescued a dog named Moksha while visiting their parents in Florida. They vowed to give her the best life they could so they started making their own food, treats, etc. They started sharing their healthy treats with their friends and family, which was an immediate hit.

They're both dog trainers and all their customers would ask for these treats as well. 

Maria Luzuriaga's background on Ayurveda and nutrition helped shaped the essence of these Ancestral Treats, she said, "If it's not good enough for my dog, it isn't good enough for any dog." The siblings also said,  

"We don't want to read labels with fillers, additives, and chemicals that aren't good dogs. 

When you get something from us, know that we honor our companions by honoring their instincts and how their ancestors lived."
